Hello friends, it's been yet again ages.

I've been doing pretty okay these past few months, keeping my self entertained and somewhat busy. Been doing a LOT of reading and a bit of gaming, I got Dragon Age: Origins for the for the PC in hopes that it might not kill my PC as fast as Sims 3 no doubt would. At least my puter's still kicking, so I'm happy, kind of freaked out though when I tried to watch a movie and it took the damn thing a half an hour to get it to work. I've also picked up Sims 1 again, which has been filling me with some hardcore nostalgic feelings, ohh the awkward days of parachute pants and tie dye t-shirts. ^__^

As for other stuff, new cars, no more teenage angst, and somewhat sisterly bonding, yeah that would pretty much sum up my life up to this point. My mum and sis just got new 2012 Honda Civics, after my niece got my mum's car pretty messed up in a car accident. She accidentally hit the gas instead of the break, and it was her first accident, like ever, so she's been pretty freaked out. As for no more teenage angst, her boyfriend is finally, finally gone. He's been living with us since last summer, him and his friend. As for the last one, been on somewhat good terms with my sis lately, it's weird, but kind of refreshing. Also been seeing quite a bit of my nephew lately, and I've got to say he's not half bad... for a kid. He says some rather amusing things and was very happy to introduce me to all his little dinosaur friends. He even remembered my name, which surprised not only me, but both my mum and sis. Almost forgot, my youngest niece is going to be a teenage in like two weeks, so yeah kind of feeling oldish.

As for art related junk, been doing a few sketches here and there, nothing as nearly as exciting as entering my first contest here on DA, yay Dark Shadows. Kind of proud of that one, first serious thing I've done in over a year, and the first contest I've ever entered entirely on my own without any guidance from teachers or friends. I've been a bit of a nervous wreck worrying about though, I really wish I'd been able to do it digitally, but since my USB cable for my tablet is MIA, kind of had to go old school, but hey, it was good for me, I've been seriously neglecting traditional art and really art-making in general.
